The Mt. Pisgah Cemetery Gardens project consists of two sites: a half-acre lower garden and a 1-acre top of the hill garden. The Gardens include niches, urn chambers and burial sites, but also are designed to have spaces for reflection and community events. Each garden has its own unique design and features shelters, memorial sitting walls, water features, concrete and stone walkways, bridges, impressive variety of trees and flowers.
The $4.85 million project is part of the cemetery board’s effort to increase capacity at the cemetery.
