Hladky Construction Inc. (HCI), was founded in Gillette, Wyoming in 1972 by Mike and Judy Hladky. Since then the company has successfully serviced multiple commercial and industrial projects in Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota.

In 1972 HCI started as a Class C contractor licensed to do concrete work. In the late seventies Hladky Construction became a General Contractor and then expanded into fields of ‘Design Built Construction’ and ‘Construction Manager Risk’ services. HCI continues to grow with skilled individuals to expand into other markets.

Today, HCI has grown and still follows its traditional philosophy – give our clients highest quality workmanship on time and on budget!
We at HCI are proud of our past construction endeavors. There is a real sense of accomplishment in undertaking difficult and demanding projects and successfully completing them to our clients’ satisfaction.
Most importantly, we look forward to each new project, challenge, and opportunity that awaits us as we continue to grow and serve you, our clients.

Mike Hladky
Founder

Mr. Hladky created Hladky Construction in 1972, after graduating from Eastern Montana College, starting as a small six person

concrete installation company. Two years later, the company was incorporated and began to expand to its present day average staff of fifty people. The history of the company mirrors Mike’s accomplishments. During our growth, safety has always been the absolute number one priority, and the successful operation of multiple carpentry, welding, concrete, and ironworking crews are a tribute to Mike’s high safety and performance standards. The fact that several of the original employees are still here is a testament to Mike’s management style and the extraordinary level of training and cooperation within our ranks. Even though he is now retired to the “3 G’s” (golfing, grandchildren, and gallivanting around the country), his employees still see him as the personification of who we are as a company.
